Blimey, this page was relaxing to draw after all the crowd and city scenes. More blue sky backgrounds please!

Buzzard chicks are so ugly cute

The gateway arch was inspired by Eagle Rock in on the Pacific Crest Trail. I was going to draw the entire mountain like this but didn’t think it would look believable. Which is quite funny when you see how very much like an eagle Eagle Rock looks like (https://hikingsdcounty.com/eagle-rock/)

I’m not too happy with this page- I was getting pretty tired by the end of the chapter and seven panels is a lot for me to fit in. But there didn’t seem to be enough content to split the page into two either,

That’s the end of Chapter 4…it’s a wrap! I’m taking a break after this because this chapter burnt me out (so many people to draw!) and then we’ll be back in August with Chapter 5. I’m about a quarter of the way through the comic by this point, so thanks for reading 🙂
