I think this is a Harris Hawk.

A peregrine falcon.

Harpy eagles are one of the biggest eagles in the world, they might not be the heaviest or have the biggest wings but they do have talons the size of grizzly bear’s claws which counts for a lot. White tailed sea eagles have bigger wings- I saw one on Mull about 25 years ago and it was like a flying garage door. Maybe I’ll see a harpy one day. Likely in a zoo, sadly.

Harpies have facial discs of feathers, which sleek down or fluff out to direct sound to their ears. It makes it easier to find prey. This harpy is all fluffed up, like an owl. She must be listening to something.

Most raptor skull are hinged under the eye socket. This means that eagles can open their mouths really wide!
