Aaand that’s a wrap for Chapter 6.

Sunbird is now going on hiatus and will return 6 January 2027.

This marks the halfway point of the comic and I am taking some breathing space before starting on the second half.  I was also lucky enough to get accepted into the Iron Circus anthology “Lie Machine” – my story “The Lost Queen” will be coming out in 2027- and struggle to work on 2 projects at once. The next 2 chapters of Sunbird are storyboarded, though- look forward to  sea monsters, swearing, road trips, and the return of some familiar characters.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the first six chapters.

In the meantime, the website will update with new character sketches every Wednesday as normal. Pop any suggestions for sketches below in the comments and I’ll see what I can do!
